Kindness Adventures partners with Hygeia Medical and Akany Avoko Ambohidratrimo Bevalala
Kindness:
Kindness Adventures is thrilled to announce our upcoming journey to Madagascar, where the heart of our adventure lies in giving back. We’re honored to partner with two incredible organizations doing life-changing work on the island.
Hygeia Medical Charity
www.hygeiamedical.org
Hygeia’s mission is to provide high-quality, free healthcare and education to those in need, with a special emphasis on women’s health. Their belief—that empowered women are essential to economic growth and social change—deeply aligns with our values. During our time in Madagascar, we’ll support Hygeia by helping set up a pop-up day clinic to serve women of all ages with care, dignity, and kindness.
Akany Avoko Ambohidratrimo Bevalala (AAA-B)
www.akanyavokoambohidratrimo.org
Founded in 1963, AAA-B is a welcoming center for disadvantaged youth located near the capital. With a mission to bring joy and opportunity to young people—whether orphaned or living in difficult circumstances—the center provides support through education, creative outlets, and community. We’re excited to spend time with the children, helping to build a small playground and co-create a colorful mural that reflects hope and connection.
Kindness Along the Way
In addition to these two partnerships, we’ll engage in small volunteer projects at the lodges we visit—planting trees, supporting local initiatives, and sharing meaningful moments with the Malagasy communities that welcome us. These acts of kindness, both big and small, are at the core of what makes our adventures so powerful.
This journey isn’t just about exploring Madagascar’s stunning landscapes—it's about leaving footprints of kindness and connection everywhere we go.
Adventures:
After arriving in Antananarivo—known locally as Tana—we’ll settle into the rhythm of the capital city. Our first full day will include a guided tour of Tana, a vibrant introduction to Madagascar’s culture, history, and colorful streets.
The following five days will be devoted to our kindness work with two inspiring local partners:
At the women’s day clinic with Hygeia Medical, we’ll help provide access to care for women of all ages, supporting their health and well-being with respect and compassion.
At Akany Avoko Ambohidratrimo Bevalala, we’ll spend time with incredible youth—playing, painting, building a playground, and sharing laughter and connection.
Next, we’ll fly to Morondava, on the island’s drier west coast. This is where the adventure shifts into wild beauty—
For two days, we’ll explore the striking landscapes by driving and walking safaris, visiting the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs and experiencing the surreal majesty of these ancient trees. We’ll stay at a charming local lodge, savoring unforgettable sunsets and delicious Malagasy cuisine.
Then it’s back to Tana for one night before flying to our final destination: Masoala Lodge, nestled in the lush northeast. This last leg is truly a dream.
Over five days, we’ll paddle through turquoise waters, kayak, swim, snorkel, go on forest walks, and whale watch. We’ll also meet local artisans and learn how they create their beautiful traditional crafts.
After two weeks filled with heart, connection, nature, and adventure—we’ll return to Tana and begin our journey home, carrying with us memories and meaning that will last a lifetime.
Empowering women to make a difference through kindness and adventure
